The Factory Farming of Birds Used for Shooting

In collaboration with:

In 2019, with the help of whistleblowers, Tracks investigated the shooting industry in France to reveal the reality of how these birds are factory farmed.

Whilst shooting enthusiasts may like us to believe the shooting of game birds such as partridges and pheasants is a natural pastime - The reality could not be further from the truth. Conditions for these game birds are often worse than allowed under the law for chickens, leading to injury, stress, mutilation and death.
