Tracks Founder Presents at the Lush Conference 2022

In this tenth-year anniversary of the Lush Prize, the 2022 Conference explored what progress has been made during the past decade to end the use of animals in research and testing. Over two days experts exchanged ideas and stimulated discussion on the roadmap of progress toward a future without animal testing.

It was a real privilege for Tracks’ founder Gemunu de Silva to be invited to present at the conference and discuss the impact of campaigns and investigations to end animal testing.

Gem spoke about the 42 investigative projects Tracks has undertaken in 11 countries, investigating laboratories and the supply chain animals used in animal research, and the impact that they have had in raising awareness, closing down laboratories, and engaging politicians to introduce targets to reduce the number of animals used in animal research.
